Man gewöhnt sich so schnell an das Schöne : ウィキペディア英語版
Man gewöhnt sich so schnell an das Schöne

"Man gewöhnt sich so schnell an das Schöne" ("How Quickly We Get Used to Nice Things") was the German entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1964, performed in German by Nora Nova.
The song (the title of which is one of the longest in Contest history) was performed ninth on the night, following the United Kingdom's Matt Monro with "I Love the Little Things" and preceding Monaco's Romuald with "Où sont-elles passées". At the close of voting, it had received ''nul points'', placing 13th (equal last) in a field of 16.
The song is a ballad, with Nova singing about how easy it is to get used to being treated well in a relationship, only to be surprised at what the rest of the world is like if the relationship ends.
It is also the song with the longest title in Eurovision history, with 34 letters, two more than the second longest, "Warum es hunderttausend Sterne gibt", the Austrian entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 1967.
It was succeeded as German representative at the 1965 Contest by Ulla Wiesner with "Paradies, wo bist du?".
